How a supported stock token becomes a material, and what a unit is.

Stock tokens as materials

Every supported stock token counts as a raw material. There is no wrapper token: crafting pulls the stock straight into the Good.

Each supported stock maps to exactly one material. In Season 1 there are 8: Silicon (NVDA), Lithium (TSLA), Glass (AAPL), Water (MSFT), Fiber (GOOGL), Neon (META), Iron (SPY), Gold (GLD). The full list, with each material's lore line, is on the Materials page.

Units

One material unit equals $10 of the stock. The amount is fixed at season open from the pool TWAP and does not change during the season.

So a recipe that calls for one Silicon pulls $10 of NVDA, measured at the season-open price, regardless of where NVDA trades later in the season. The amount of stock per unit is a season constant; the dollar value of that stock is not.

Unit amounts are read from the pool time-weighted average price at season open and written to the Season contract. They cannot be changed mid-season.

No wrapper token

There is no intermediate material token. Crafting pulls the stock tokens straight from your wallet into the Good that is being minted, and melting returns them straight back. Materials are a way of reading the market, not a second asset to hold.
