Fees and $RES
Craft and melt fees, the 50/50 split, and what $RES does.
Fee schedule
Every fee is charged in USDG at the moment of the craft or melt.
| Action | Tier | Fee | Paid in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Craft | T1 Component | 0.3% | USDG |
| Craft | T2 Product | 1% | USDG |
| Craft | T3 Legendary | 2% | USDG |
| Melt | Every tier | 1.5% | USDG |
Worked example at starting NAV: crafting a Component costs $0.06, a Product $0.6 and Megacity $4.8, plus the $RES burn described below.
The split
- 50% goes to staked T2 and T3 holders, paid in SPY.
- 50% goes to $RES buyback and burn.
The Keeper contract converts USDG to SPY for the staker half and runs the buyback for the other half. Staking itself lives in the Depot; see Staking.
$RES
$RES launches on Pons. Its ETH creator fees route to the same buyback.
Crafting a Megacity burns $RES worth 25% of its NAV, on top of the craft fee. At starting NAV that is $60 of $RES.
$RES address: Soon. The token is not live and nothing here is a promise about its price.
